This past weekend I was in Manhattan, and I have lots to tell you ie. me filming side by side the Food Network! But first, this past weekend was graduation weekend in Manhattan, and thousands of students will be moving home or headed out to summer jobs and internships.
So where does a livestock trailer fit in?
Stock Trailer in Apartment Complex parking lot. |
Each August everyone jokes that you would think a livestock show was going on, with the number of bumper hitches and gooseneck trailers that descent on the Little Apple, and May isn't much different. I guess you can take the girl out of the country, but can't take the country out of the girl.
This is so true! I will not be renting a U-Haul when I move in a couple of weeks. The gooseneck is ready to be loaded down with all my stuff. =)
ReplyDeleteSo true! Trailers are a common sight in San Luis Obispo, CA, where my husband and I went to school. I remember as kids my mom helped my uncle move and we used our cattle truck, complete with items sticking out over the top rails!
ReplyDeleteTotally agree...when we moved the last time we loaded up the stock trailer and hauled on. Well, after a good cleaning that is. ;0)
ReplyDeleteSo true!! I would only take what could fit into my horse trailer when I went off to school!!
ReplyDeleteIt didn't even occur to me there was another way to move till way after my school years! LOL. Love it!
ReplyDeleteFood Network??
ReplyDeleteSFC I'll tell more about Food Network next week.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to see that using a stock trailer to move is the norm!
