Leopard Loungewear and Simple Earrings

I will never have enough leopard in my closet. With fall around the corner, yet knowing that I am still probably going to have to continue to be on a bunch of Zoom calls, I wanted to add some fun yet cozy new pieces to my closet.

1. Black Mock Neck :: I love the polished look. Throw on with faux leather leggings or black skinnies and be ready for a night on the town.
2. Leopard Snap Up Fleece :: I bought the Amazon dupe a few years ago and you get what you pay for. This is already in my closet and I am obsessed.
3. Tunic 3/4 Zip :: A friend had this on at golf league. The length is perfect and I love the softer color.
4. Leopard Tunic :: This is also in my closet. I think the color is so unique. A little hard to tell but there is deep plum in the pattern.
5. Drop Sleeve Crew Neck :: I am a sucker for a good crewneck. This would look great with a chambray button up under near for when you need something more polished.

When going a little more casual with a sweatshirt it is easy to dress up your look with a great lipstick or a pair of earrings. I love statement earring but these daintier studs from my boutique are a great everyday look.

Turquoise Thursday: The Classy Trailer

Don't you love Instagram? It might be slightly dangerous because each time I am on there in addition to seeing your smiling faces, cow pictures, #felfies, I also seem to always discover a new boutique or fashion blogger to follow. And that is what happened with The Classy Trailer.

I instantly fell in love with Jill's designs, many which include turquoise.

I love these turquoise 3mm rings. They can be worn as a regular ring or a midi. And they also make the perfect rings for stacking. I can't wait to get my own 3mm turquoise ring in the mail.
Pricing ranges from $16-$35.

The Classy Trailer cuff is a great way to show your state pride. Jill does lots of custom work. I about drool over the turquoise stones she is always posting to her Facebook page
Custom cuffs $65 & up.

Jill is also know for her brand and initial rings.
Pricing around $100.

Jill had a childhood largely influences by agriculture and has continues to say involved into adulthood. She has shown horse for many years, and has been in the veterinary fired for more than 11 years. Her heart is in large animal reproduction, and enjoyed working a number of race horse barns for a while. She currently lives in Napa, CA, where she was born and raised. Lucky girl! Maybe we should plan a shopping and wine trip.

If you are interested in one of Jill's pieces you can contact her through her The Classy Trailer Facebook page.

Turquoise Thursday: Tassel Necklace

Recently, I've been seeing more and more tassel necklaces pop up. I think it maybe started last summer with Kendra Scott's Rayne necklace and I am loving all the new options, especially when they are turquoise!

Which one is your favorite? And will you be wearing this trend?

Turquoise Thursday: Act Like A Lady

Is anyone itching for spring. I have been seeing the hashtag #onedayclosertospring popping up lots of places. I don't think all the spring fashions popping up are helping either. Recently, I noticed this beautiful turquoise blazer at Banana Republic. Here is a little confession - I love suit jackets and blazer. I own more than are necessary, however it is sure nice to have them around for that big meeting or fancy night out.

Here's a little tip if you love Banana Republic: Never pay full price for anything. I guarantee that if you just weight a day there will be anywhere from a 20-50% off sale online. I will often try stuff on in the store and then wait and purchase online.

Now for the jewelry. Thanks to Instagram I have discovered t + j designs and their stuff rocks. They have tons of turquoise and mint colored jewelry this spring.

This is another one of their mint necklaces from the spring t + j designs spring lines. If you visit the t + J website make sure you sign up for their email list as you will get a 20% off coupon.

And with images like this on the t + j Designs Facebook page how can you go wrong!

(I did not receive any compensation for this post, I just really like these items!)

Turquoise Thursday: Pops of Turquoise

It's a new year and time to bring back some turquoise. This outfit would be completely impractical this week with our chilly temperature. You would probably want to throw a bunch of turquoise outerwear over the top of it but I am trying to think warm thoughts!

Crystal Cattle: Turquoise Get Together

Sometime you only need a pop of turquoise to brighten up your wardrobe.
You can click on any of the little photos above to find out where to purchase each of these items.

I love these gumdrop Kate Spade turquoise earrings. I actually bought my sister the same pair in hot pink.

I don't own a single pair of flats and although I am pretty much only were my Frye boots, cowboy boots or winter boots some springtime I think I'll be searching for a fun pair of flats

I love this turquoise Fossil watch. Unfortunately, it is sold out online. However, here is a really similar version with a little more bling.

This was me a little earlier in the week feeding cattle in way too cold of weather! Of course I had to sport a little bit of turquoise. Hope you are all having a great week.

Turquoise Thursday: C. Wonder

Thanks to Pinterst I came across an awesome brand called C. Wonder. Has anyone of you heard of them before, and perhaps I am just way behind the times? They have everything from cute clothes to great home accessories. Plus they are having a 30% off sale right now!

It may surprise you, but I have yet to buy a pair of turquoise skinny jeans. It's not that I don't want a pair, but it's getting close to summer and that means I will pretty much be living in company logo shirts, jeans and my boots. Turquoise skinny jeans don't quite fit into the look the company is going for. However, with these skinny jeans being priced at $64.99 and another 30% off, it is going to be hard to pass. They also have a really pretty coral color.

I love this Enamel Initial Bangle. However, unless your name starts with a K or O you are going to have to settle for another color. I am really tempted to buy the B for Blin as it comes in hot pink.

Can you see the arm party forming. This Frosted Bling Bracelet is really cute, but I might have to wait for it to go on sale at $48. Again, it comes in a couple other color options.

I know it isn't turquoise but it is one of my other favorite colors. I love this Round Stone Bling Necklace. I bought a really cute strapless black dress at J.Crew for one of the eight weddings we'll be attending this summer. That's right - attending! That doesn't include the two that we aren't going to make it to.

Check out these pillows! I think they scream summer. I can see myself hanging out on our porch surrounded by these bright turquoise pillows. In both these designs they have option in pink and orange.

Ok who is going shopping? I love when I run into readers or when people drop me a line letting them know they did a little shopping from by posts. Happy Turquoise Thursday.

Turquoise Thursday: Tiffany & Co.

So I had a little inspiration on this post. Recently, a blogging friend spent the week in New York and then got engaged. Not too bad, I would say. While in New York it was her birthday and she got these really cool turquoise (Tiffany Blue) earrings.

I decided that I needed to check out the Tiffany & Co. website to see what other goodies they had. Yeah, I would say there is quite a bit on there that I fancy.

Isn't it pretty. Maybe my love of turquoise stems from the love of Tiffany's jewelry. I mean it is all the same color platte right?

This is what I call Tiffany on a budget. I love this fun playing card set and at $30 it would make a cute gift.

Let's get back to blowing the budget with this Tiffany & Co. purse. I had no idea that they now had such a selection of purses as part of their brand.

Feel free to forward this post on to any significant other that you think may still be needing to purchase you a gift. The Boy informed me yesterday that he is now done all his shopping. I'm not sure what we would do without online shopping at our house.

Turquoise Thursday: State Necklaces

A piece of home

If you are like me (or a lot of my friends) we have picked up and moved one of two times, and not just across the street. At the age of 27 I have already lived in Alberta, Kansas, Missouri and Iowa.

I have seen lots of these state necklaces on Pinterest and Etsy, however I of course was drawn to these specific necklaces with their turquoise patina.

This is a two state necklace from NINOYCHKAgoods on Etsy.

NINOYCHKAgoods also does single state necklaces. I like that on this one you can have a heart placed anywhere within the state. Maybe one to signify your hometown.

Which state(s) would you choose?

And as a reminder don't forget to vote for Crystal Cattle in the Best of the Barns awards. I haven't been nominated for best Cattle Blog in Category 11.

Turquoise Thursday: Simple Turquoise Bracelet and Earrings

Just a hint.

Sometimes it just takes a little bit of a good thing. Like this bracelet and earring from Stone Wear Designs.

What are some of the good turquoise finds you have found recently?

All dressed up: black, leopard and sparkle

Time to celebrate

This weekend the Boy and I were wedding goers. It was fun being at a wedding the day before our 6 month anniversary. Parts of our wedding day were such a blur, so it is always nice to sit back and reflect on the biggest day of our lives. May sound cliche, but so far it really has been.

What did I pull out of the closet for this occasion? Well it was so cold out you don't get to see the cute black strapless dress I had on, but don't worry my accessories will made up for it.

I am crazy about this leopard scarf I got at Top Shop last year, and I am glad that Fall is finally here and I can break it out. Here, and here and here are similar versions. My other outerwear staple is a long wool coat I got at Old Navy a few years ago. Be watching Old Navy brings back the best black wool/pea coats every year. Promise.

Remember how I was crazy about ILY Couture jewelry. Well I finally got me some. This pave bracelet was awesome. Keep on eye on the Ily Couture Facebook page because they are always have Facebook offers (yes, they actually work).

Has anyone been to J.C. Penny lately? Yeah, they have really stepped up there game. I got a beautiful red scarf there the other day and picked up these earring. They Boy even asked me where I got them from. Bonus points to him for noticing, and bonus points for me for finding awesome deals. These earrings aren't on their website however if you are looking for something similar, but not a deal check out these David Yurman earrings. I love David Yurman. Too bad money didn't grow on trees.

What is going to be your fall or winter go to accessory?

Turquoise Bubble Jewelry

You are going to be excited.

Since it has been such a long time since I have done a Turquoise Thursday I figured it better be a good one. You know my love of this J.Crew Bubble Necklace, but it is not cheap. I was lucky and got mine on sale at the outlet.

However, do not fear because I have discovered a bunch of bubble turquoise jewelry pieces all all kind of price points.

I am crazy about these Loren Hope turquoise bubble earrings. They make my smile. They are going on my Gifts for Crystal Pinterest page. Hint, hint.

And they have a gorgeous matching turquoise necklace

Maybe you like something a little more simple. If so you can not beat these turquoise bubble earrings by Ily Couture.

They also have single bubble necklaces in all kinds of colors, and the bigger bubble necklaces like the one I am wearing at a fraction of the price of the J.Crew necklace.

Last, but not least coral and turquoise is always a popular combination.

Be sure to check out Ily Couture and Loren Hope. They have tons of gorgeous pieces in more than just turquoise.

Turquoise Thursday: J. Crew imitation necklace

I love a good deal.

First off, I had to share this picture with you. I mean I think this pretty much say turquoise Vegas style.

Available at the Flamingo.
Now onto J. Crew. I love J. Crew. I think it is awesome, and I would like to buy all their clothes. Unfortunately, I am not rich enough. The necklace below is amazing, however I don't think it would be very practical for feeding cows in. Thankfully I make it off the farm once in awhile to wear other crazy pieces like this one.

I've been following the fashion blog Pink Peonies.

I mean look at her! She has amazing style, and don't blame me when you waste entirely too much time reading all her posts! Also, I have decided that if I by anything neon this summer it is going to be that purse!

And now for the deal I promised.

A very similar J. Crew Turquoise Bubble necklace found on Etsy. Love that store. There are more pictures of the necklace here, and the creator says the necklace is much more a turquoise color than baby blue. Happy shopping!

Update: I also love Ily Couture for J.Crew Bubble necklaces, as well as the really popular pave bracelets and necklaces.

Turquoise Thursday - Spike Necklace

Boom Turquoise

Recently I came across the Charm & Chain Blog. They have all kinds of really unique jewelry, and also have a lot of copycat pieces that are MUCH less than the real thing. Of course this turquoise necklace instantly caught my eye.

Isn't it pretty. Perfect with a black shirt or a white collared shirt.
This turquoise spike necklace is by Kenneth Jay Lane and retails for $80.

There is also a red version of the spike necklace
Happy Shopping!

Turquoise Thursday - Pin it

Hunks of turquoise are the best

Thanks to Pinterest and my friend Anna (who also does Turquoise Thursdays) I found this awesome turquoise pin. Don't look at the price that is not important. The third and fourth options are a little less expensive.

How cool would that be to have a turquoise pin? This is where my turquoise pin would appear.

- on a black blazer
- on a handbag
- add to a silver chain

Or you could wear it like The King Ranch Saddle suggests.

This the turquoise pin I'm talking about.

Love it!

And if you arm feels a little bare you could go with the matching turquoise cuff

I also like this turquoise pin found on eBay.

I thought of another option - on my black peacoat. Can you tell I like black as much as I like turquoise.

I am not a big heart person, but I think this is a cute option for a turquoise pin
