Turquoise Thursday: Act Like A Lady

Is anyone itching for spring. I have been seeing the hashtag #onedayclosertospring popping up lots of places. I don't think all the spring fashions popping up are helping either. Recently, I noticed this beautiful turquoise blazer at Banana Republic. Here is a little confession - I love suit jackets and blazer. I own more than are necessary, however it is sure nice to have them around for that big meeting or fancy night out.

Here's a little tip if you love Banana Republic: Never pay full price for anything. I guarantee that if you just weight a day there will be anywhere from a 20-50% off sale online. I will often try stuff on in the store and then wait and purchase online.

Now for the jewelry. Thanks to Instagram I have discovered t + j designs and their stuff rocks. They have tons of turquoise and mint colored jewelry this spring.

This is another one of their mint necklaces from the spring t + j designs spring lines. If you visit the t + J website make sure you sign up for their email list as you will get a 20% off coupon.

And with images like this on the t + j Designs Facebook page how can you go wrong!

(I did not receive any compensation for this post, I just really like these items!)

Turquoise Thursday: Turquoise Anderson Bean Boots

Hello friends! So where I have I been the past week and a  half? The bright, warm and sunny Mile High City aka Denver was my home. For the past 10 days I was in Denver for the National Western Stock Show. Not only were the warm temperatures a welcome, I got to see a ton of old friends and even met another one of my social media friends Taysha Reitzel from Dirt Road Charm!

Even though it was a work trip I did get to sneak up to the trade show and found these beauties.

At first I wasn't sure if they were men's or women's boots because the bottoms are the same as the boots I bought for the Boy for our anniversary. However, the turquoise is probably a little more appealing to me than most men.

So, I asked the sales girl and she said these boots came in both men and women's sizes! Problem solved. Now I just need to add them to my wish list. What boots are you on your wish list?

Turquoise Thursday: It's a new Crystal Cattle

Today's Turquoise Thursday is about this new look. Did you notice ;) I am not sure if it is turquoise enough for me, and there are a few hiccups I am still working work. However, overall I am liking the new look, and I think it is a good representation of Crystal Cattle.

But, since you come to the blog to get your turquoise fix I'll give you a little turquoise from one of my favorite blog House of Turquoise. Yes, a full blog dedicated to turquoise everyday! I am in love with this ottoman.

And don't forget you only have a few more days to sign up for the Holiday Beauty Swap!

Turquoise Thursday: Outerwear

Anyone else think this fall has been a little odd. Yes, we have had some cold days, and yes we did get a little bit of snow already (it melted quickly), but other than that it has been pretty darn warm. The other week I made my very first trip to North Dakota. I made sure I unpacked a few of my winter things, only to discover that it was much warmer in North Dakota those days than in Iowa.

Turquoise Outerwear

I find the easiest way to add some cheeriness to a winer wardrobe is a little pop of color. And what better color to select than turquoise.

Now this is a lot of turquoise, but this Turquoise Peacoat from J.Crew would brighten up anyone's day.

I also really like this turquoise fleece jacket by North Face.

The turquoise puffy vest by North Face would be perfect for layering, and would be a piece that could be worn through the Fall, Winter and Spring.

Are you ready for winter? Are you the kind of girl that buys a new winter jacket every year or just new gloves because you can only find one of the pair!

Turquoise Thursday: Brahmin Handbags

In 2011 I wrote a blog post with this same name. Back then Brahmin had an amazing collection of lighter turquoise bags. Now, as you can see below, they have added some vivid turquoise to their collection.

This is definitely a bold statement piece. This handbag is from Brahmin's Melbourne Collection and some in lots of other more subtle colors if turquoise isn't your thing.

Sometimes you only need a little turquoise like this Alexis Clutch.

This turquoise crossover bag also comes in a hot pink.

Happy Turquoise Thursday! We are getting more rain today, which is great for our grass, but not great for planting corn and soybeans. The Boy is starting to get a little anxious.

Turquoise Thursday: Turquoise Sandals

This spring has been long. Wayyyyy too long. All I want is a little sunshine because people are starting to get a little grouchy.

These are the reasons we need sunshine.
1. We've been getting moisture (which we really do need, it is still very dry) but we need some heat to get this grass growing. Our cows are very tired of eating hay, and it is very expensive for the Boy and I to keep on buying hay to feed our cows.

2. The soil temperature is hovering around 42 degrees, and we need it to be 55 degrees before we can plant corn. According to Farm Journal only 4% of what was expected to be planted at this point is actually in the ground. Sunshine and a warm wind will help that temperature rise, otherwise we'll be planting corn that has mittens on it.

3. Yes, I love my Frye tall boots, but want to wear some sandals. And I refuse to be one of those girls that freezes for fashion. Come out sun so I can show off my toes.

While waiting for the sun to appear I found a few options.

How cute are these leopard and turquoise sandals from Chic Wish. Bad news they are out of stock. That wasn't very nice of me to get you all excited was it. Good news there is a similar pair that comes in a really cute neon yellow

Now here is a really cute pair you can buy, and I did. I ordered these DV by Dolce Vita Archer sandals from Piperlime.com the other day, and I was able to use a coupon to knock a few bucks off. They should be arriving next week and I can't wait to get them.

While on Piperlime.com I also saw these great beaded sandals again from DV by Dolce Vita. They have some great options this year. p.s. I love Pimperlime.com because they have free shipping and returns.

Finally, check out these cute sandals that Southern Jewlz just got in. I love the tribal look of them.

Now for something that it is a little off the topic of turquoise. I have to say that I love everyone who has been sending me pictures of their new Erin Condren Life Planners. Looks like after my blog post lots of you got the itch. If you ordered one and I haven't seen a picture yet get it up on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and  tag @crystalcattle so I can see a picture.

Turquoise Thursday: C. Wonder

Thanks to Pinterst I came across an awesome brand called C. Wonder. Has anyone of you heard of them before, and perhaps I am just way behind the times? They have everything from cute clothes to great home accessories. Plus they are having a 30% off sale right now!

It may surprise you, but I have yet to buy a pair of turquoise skinny jeans. It's not that I don't want a pair, but it's getting close to summer and that means I will pretty much be living in company logo shirts, jeans and my boots. Turquoise skinny jeans don't quite fit into the look the company is going for. However, with these skinny jeans being priced at $64.99 and another 30% off, it is going to be hard to pass. They also have a really pretty coral color.

I love this Enamel Initial Bangle. However, unless your name starts with a K or O you are going to have to settle for another color. I am really tempted to buy the B for Blin as it comes in hot pink.

Can you see the arm party forming. This Frosted Bling Bracelet is really cute, but I might have to wait for it to go on sale at $48. Again, it comes in a couple other color options.

I know it isn't turquoise but it is one of my other favorite colors. I love this Round Stone Bling Necklace. I bought a really cute strapless black dress at J.Crew for one of the eight weddings we'll be attending this summer. That's right - attending! That doesn't include the two that we aren't going to make it to.

Check out these pillows! I think they scream summer. I can see myself hanging out on our porch surrounded by these bright turquoise pillows. In both these designs they have option in pink and orange.

Ok who is going shopping? I love when I run into readers or when people drop me a line letting them know they did a little shopping from by posts. Happy Turquoise Thursday.

Turquoise Thursday: Turquoise Car Bench

It will be a little quiet on the blog for then next week or so as I am at one of my big work events of the year in Oklahoma. However, I wanted to 1. announce our winner of the Stella and Dot earrings (I've worn mine a ton in the last week), and 2. share this really cool bench.

Isn't this bench awesome.
I found it on Pinterest and tracked it down on the Bohemian Valhalla Blog.

And now for the winner...

Melissa Writer you are the owner of the Stella and Dot earrings! I'll be in touch with you soon.

Have a great week everyone.

Turquoise Thursday: Purses

In the spring I usually start itching for a new purse. Perhaps because my birthday is in March and I have often bought myself a new purse with my birthday money. Last year it was a gorgeous Michael Kors black bag. It goes with me everywhere.

This smaller turquoise handbag caught my eye on Pinterest the other day. The boutique is called Ruche and it has lots of cute things. Including a couple cute belts found here and here.

Or if you want to spent a few more dollars Coach has a very handbags in turquoise this spring.

What's the one thing that you always like to purchase in the spring?

Turquoise Thursday: Spring Break Swimsuits

There is snow on the ground everywhere, I don't get Spring Break and I don't even have a warm weather vacation planned. However, I still love looking at swimsuits. And I figure maybe if I pick out some swimsuits the Vacation Fairy might come to visit.

I love this swimsuit. I think I might put it on my Birthday wish list, and the price is fairly good too. ASOS Laser-Cut Floaty Bikini Crop Top is $30.52 and bottoms$16.95. Plus, ASOS has a $10 off when you spend $100 (use coupon code USAVE10).

How about this fun little number from Orchid Boutique. They have tons of great styles including the Hunter Sea Monique (I have no idea where they get these names) however you'll definitely pay a little more for this turquoise bikini

Did you jump on the fringe bikini trend last year? Cowgirl Crush is carrying these tops in a variety of colors. I can't decide is I like the turquoise (shown) or the mint color the best.

Are you planning a warm weather vacation or if you could go anywhere on a little trip where would you venture off to?

Turquoise Thursday: Tribal Turquoise Dress

This spring/summer/fall we have a ton of weddings to attend. I've already started to keep my eye out for some dresses. A little while ago I found out about The Blue Door Boutique from another blogging friend, and today this little turquoise number caught my eye.

Are you into the tribal trend?

Turquoise Thursday: F21 Turquoise Jewelry Steals

One of my favorite Pinterest Boards to follow is chloe (the chloe conspiracy). I have mentioned her blog a lot, but her steals and deals Pinterest Board always pleases.

On Chloe's Steals and Deals Board is where I found this great statement necklace. I love the little pop of turquoise color. Wouldn't this look great against a crew neck sweater.

How can you beat these turquoise drop earrings at $1.50!

Turquoise Thursday: Tiffany & Co.

So I had a little inspiration on this post. Recently, a blogging friend spent the week in New York and then got engaged. Not too bad, I would say. While in New York it was her birthday and she got these really cool turquoise (Tiffany Blue) earrings.

I decided that I needed to check out the Tiffany & Co. website to see what other goodies they had. Yeah, I would say there is quite a bit on there that I fancy.

Isn't it pretty. Maybe my love of turquoise stems from the love of Tiffany's jewelry. I mean it is all the same color platte right?

This is what I call Tiffany on a budget. I love this fun playing card set and at $30 it would make a cute gift.

Let's get back to blowing the budget with this Tiffany & Co. purse. I had no idea that they now had such a selection of purses as part of their brand.

Feel free to forward this post on to any significant other that you think may still be needing to purchase you a gift. The Boy informed me yesterday that he is now done all his shopping. I'm not sure what we would do without online shopping at our house.
